Embodying culture through a graphic
In preparation for the Oakland Marathon, we were asked to create a graphic based on Oakland's popular mural by Chris Granillo. Not only did the illustration need to reflect the culture of the Oakland community and pay homage to the well-known mural, but it also needed to be production-ready for a screen print application.
